NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow in Medical Oncology

Melyda is an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow in Medical Oncology under the Platform Science theme, researching molecular pathways in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. She earned her MBBS and medical doctor degree from Tarumanagara University, Indonesia, and her MSc in Health Economics and Health Policy (with Distinction) from the University of Birmingham. Previously, she was an ST2 Radiation Oncology resident at the University of Indonesia - Cipto Mangunkusumo National Hospital in Jakarta before moving to the UK. Melyda also worked as a Research Fellow in Health Economics at the University of Birmingham before joining NHS England.
